Dynasties of Asia is proud to offer this exceptionally beautiful large antique Chinese buffet cabinet.

This large piece of furniture is made of Northern Elm wood or yumu, a typical material used for quality furniture in the Q'ing period.

This antique Chinese buffet cabinet is over 150 years old and originates from the Shanxi Province.

The hardware is the original bronze, and is is in remarkable condition.

There is evidence that this piece of furniture had a 9" X 8" piece of the top removed to accommodate an altar or cooking haven. As a result, the counter top had been restored.
