Mongolian Antique 'Temple of Peace' rug from Baotou
Dynasties of Asia offers this very rare 'wall rug', entitled
'Temple of Peace'.
The 'wall rug' was made during the Q'ing Dynasty in Baotou,
Inner Mongolia. It is over 125 years old.
The measurements of this prize antique rug are L: 53.50" X W:
27.55" with extraordinary bright colors.
This 'Temple of Peace' rug is significant, as with other rugs
from the same region, telling a story or tale.
The interpretation that was offered by a carpet expert in
Beijing, suggests a simple story of a monk that works the land
that where he lives and prays.
The 'wall rug' is in EXCELLENT condition, and great care was
given to preserve its integrity and beauty.
